Society for Handicapped Orientation Programme and Education (HOPE) was started as a day care centre to empower individuals with disability and make them self-reliant, self-sufficient and independent so that they can be main streamed in society. It works for the welfare of special children by providing them education, vocational training and rehabilitation services.
Children suffering from various degrees of Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Hearing Deficiency form the main body of the students.Future plans of the centre includes setting up a Respite care and Residential place with all services including special education, therapeutical services, vocational training, health unit, play area, etc.
