Four Steps is a multidimensional, psycho educational, academic, therapeutic and multidisciplinary centre which aims at providing total rehabilitation and integration for children with special needs. This is achieved by developing personality potential and functions in special children through education, training and research in the field of Intellectual Impairment. At the centre the child is assessed and based on needs and requirements an Individual programme is designed and 1:1 therapeutic services and intervention is provided.
The children are also provided with Pre-Vocational and Vocational training to prepare them to enter a world of meaningful occupation and help them lead an independent life in society. The individuals are trained in various areas like Home Management and Cooking, Teacher’s Assistant, Receptionist, Office Assistant, Laminating and Photocopying, Computer Operator, etc.
Daily Living Skills, Social Skills, personal skills, etc are also taught as part of the customised curriculum at the centre.
